Westchester Triathlon

The Westchest Triathlon is held annually in the park in September.

For more than 30 years the Westchester Triathlon has conducted a first class multisport event in the New York Tri State Area.  Held at the end of September, this race is often the final one of the season for many local triathletes.  From novice to professional, young and old, the 1,000 athletes gather together in scenic Rye for this Olympic distance race.  100% of the race proceeds goes to local and national charities. (see weschestertriathlon.org for a list of supported charities)

A kids triathlon is held on the first day, Saturday, and the adult Olympic distance race is held on Sunday.  This year was a spectacular event with clear blue skies and very cool morning temperatures, perfect for athletes and spectators alike.
